Job Position

The medical transcriptionist plays a vital role in the Pediatric office, allowing physicians and mid-level providers to care for more patients, more efficiently and effectively.  Successful candidates for this position should possess a working knowledge of computer systems and medical terminology.  They must enjoy in a fast-paced environment that relies heavily on team-work between all staff members.  The medical transcriptionist works with the providers, during the patient care encounter to ensure all clinical and financial aspects of that encounter are documented timely, and accurately, into the Electronic Medical Record.
