The Network Engineer will monitor LCMH Network performance, trouble shoot any outages etc. will schedule upgrades and ensure system security at all times. This position will design and implement new network solutions to constantly improve current system efficiency. Install, configure, and support network equipment. Monitor performance and ensure system availability/reliability. Secure network system by establishing and enforcing IT policies. Support and administer firewall environments in line with IT security policy. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software and other network issues as they arrive. Responsible for ensuring the security of LCMH digital assets. Assist with policies and procedure development for the protection of sensitive data and prevention of cyber attacks. Establish and mange user access controls to ensure that only authorized uses can LCMH systems. Coordinate regular security audits/risk assessments with the rest of the IT department. Responsible for investigating any security breaches and reporting those breaches to leadership. Provide on-going training and education to staff and users to promote a culture of IT security awareness.
