At the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, we believe that investing in education is investing in the future of our community. That’s why, each year, we offer two scholarships—one for a graduating senior in each school district within our county.
We are looking for students who have demonstrated a commitment to making Lawrence County a better place through volunteer work, leadership, and community involvement. One of the key questions on our scholarship application is: “How have you contributed to our community?” This helps our board members select recipients who have already made an impact and plan to bring their skills and talents back home after college.
A team of Chamber board members carefully reviews each application, seeking candidates who embody our mission of community growth and service. If you or someone you know is a graduating senior eager to make a difference, we encourage you to apply!
