The Lawrence County Basketball Capital Classic returns for its 36th year, and we’re gearing up for an action-packed event you won’t want to miss! This prestigious tournament is the longest-running basketball tournament in Illinois, having first started in 1989. It features an intense 8-team bracket showcasing the best talent from the Lawrenceville Indians, the Red Hill Salukis, and teams from across the region.
Come for the heart-pounding action! Incredible athleticism! And community pride as our local high school basketball teams compete for the coveted championship title. Feel the excitement from the tip-off to the final buzzer, with each game filled with memorable moments!
