Get ready for an evening of fun, food, and games to support the Lawrence Crawford Association for Exceptional Citizens (LCAEC)! This organization was born from the dreams of a group of concerned parents and individuals advocating for adults with developmental disabilities in Lawrence and Crawford Counties. Recognizing the lack of support, education, and training available, they launched LCAEC in the Ruritan Building in Chauncey, Illinois. Over the years, our facility has expanded, allowing us to provide local services in both the Lawrenceville and Robinson communities.

Currently, in addition to our Community Day Services, we offer residential services for seven individuals at our CILA home in Robinson. By attending Community Day Services, our consumers receive essential support in a welcoming environment where they are accepted and encouraged. They benefit from job training, educational instruction, support with daily living skills, and medical assistance, all aimed at promoting independence and community integration.
